Summertime in New York City
Patrick and I had been planning on taking our engagement photos in Central Park this summer, so when June rolled around we decided to extend our trip and enjoy the city for a long weekend. We spent the morning at Bow Bridge and inside The Metropolitan Museum with Sophie Kaye who will also be shooting our wedding, stay tuned for photos! We stayed at The Standard in our old East Village neighborhood, walking distance from The RealReal where I popped in to try on some vintage Chanel tweed styles. Favorite bites (some old, some new!) were Murray’s Cheese Bar for a well curated cheese board, ABC Kitchen for an exquisite brunch, La Lanterna di Vittorio for the best pesto lasagna in the city, La Colombe for a draft latte and Patisserie Fouet for their earl grey soufflé.
Sweatshirt Style
I have been a strictly vintage sweatshirt collector over the years, but I’ve been loving these simple options from Everlane and Reformation recently. They add just the right amount of casual to a feminine skirt look. Throw one on with jeans and heels for a comfy date night look.
