One of my favorite brunch spots in San Francisco is Tartine Manufactory. Be sure to get there early to grab a poppyseed coffee cake and a morning bun. Pro move: Order an iced latte with a side of their lavender simple syrup.
Summertime in New York City
Patrick and I had been planning on taking our engagement photos in Central Park this summer, so when June rolled around we decided to extend our trip and enjoy the city for a long weekend. We spent the morning at Bow Bridge and inside The Metropolitan Museum with Sophie Kaye who will also be shooting our wedding, stay tuned for photos! We stayed at The Standard in our old East Village neighborhood, walking distance from The RealReal where I popped in to try on some vintage Chanel tweed styles. Favorite bites (some old, some new!) were Murrayโs Cheese Bar for a well curated cheese board, ABC Kitchen for an exquisite brunch, La Lanterna di Vittorio for the best pesto lasagna in the city, La Colombe for a draft latte and Patisserie Fouet for their earl grey soufflรฉ.
Under the Mexican Sun
Patrick and I started our summer off with a family trip to Cabo San Lucas. As always, my favorite adventure is visiting Flora Farms for an afternoon lunch filled with fresh cocktails and garden delights. Be sure to order the heirloom bloody mary if you ever make the trip!
A Day in Manhattan
The Sweet & Spark team started this week at the Brimfield Antique Faire shopping for our Fall vintage collection, from there we mapped out antique malls across New England. Jillian and I also snuck away to New York City for a quick day trip where we stopped by the new LโAppartment Sรฉzane and LoveShackFancy stores in the village. And for one of my favorite Manhattan traditions, we went to see the new Costume Instituteโs fashion exhibit; Camp: Notes on Fashion at the Metropolitan Museum.
