I took ballet growing up, and at the end of each year our company would put on a big recital. Year after year my group received green tutus. I would always look at the girls with their pink, yellow and powder blue costumes and wish that I could wear one of theirs instead (mostly the pink ones). So from then on I had always disliked the color green. I donโt think it was until I worked at Kate Spade that I started to realize how green could be feminine, a pink and kelly green combination is a brand favorite of theirs after all. Now I have more of an appreciation for all shades of green, even recently confirmed by adding more emerald and forest greens into my wardrobe.
